Welcome! I’m Ellie Herman, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor. I opened Step By Step Counseling LLC in order to provide quality online, or virtual, therapy services to the Central PA area and beyond.

Our therapists are dedicated to person-centered care, emphasizing your strengths in managing transitions and well-being. In practice, we rely on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solutions Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Eating Disorders, Intuitive Eating, Mindfulness, Feminist Theory, and a few other strength-based modalities.
We believe in gender-affirming, weight-neutral treatment that is rooted in the Health At Every Size paradigm.
